Kansas City Alliance Raceway Ministries
Photos of race weekend September 2007
There are many opportunties to tell others about Jesus at Kansas Speedway. Below are just a few ways that our volunteers ministered during the Nextel and Busch NASCAR race weekend in September 2007. If you are interested in volunteering, go to the KCARM home page and call one of the names listed to get more information.
Parking Motor Homes
To start the weekend, we help park the motor homes in the family campground

Busch Car Driver, Morgan Shepherd
During the concert, we had a visit from Morgan Shepherd. He is a Christian Busch Series race car driver. Here he is with KCARM Tent Manager, Stu Lantz.
Sunday Morning Worship
Here is our tent across the street from the family campground. This is where our entertainment activities take place. This is also a House of Worship on Sunday Mornings.
Some of Our Volunteers
We have many volunteers that would love to tell you about Jesus
Food!
Dwight cooking hotdogs and hamburgers for the volunteers and track workers
The Gospel
R.D. Fowler, pastor & volunteer from Nebraska, is sharing the Gospel before the Timothy Cup Pinewood Derby race is to begin. He has a captive audience as he shares how to have a relationship with Jesus.
Entertainment
After the derby race, we had the AZ*U*R Band, from Lee's Summit, Missouri, share their faith by playing and singing great music! It was familiar Rock and Roll tunes with updated Christian lyrics. They were awesome!
Autograph Session
Morgan signed several autographs for the fans and volunteers that were present. He also gave the band a brief break and got up on stage, giving his personal testimony. He drives for the Racing For Jesus team.
Sunday Morning Worship
R.D. Fowler, pastor & volunteer from Lincoln, brought the message to the fans this Sunday Morning. We had about 45 in attendance this particular morning in September 2007.
Kansas Speedway
"The harvest is plenty. The workers are few." The NASCAR Nextel Cup race is in full swing as the stands are full of fans. This is our mission: To spread the Gospel to all the fans at Kansas Speedway and help the lost understand that they need a relationship with Jesus.
